About
Soukprida Phetmisy, better known as Victoria, graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a B.F.A. in Writing and a minor in Arts Administration.
She is a public radio junky who enjoys cloudspotting, gorging on information and music, and traveling. She can usually be found perusing the sale racks at any book, craft, or gadget store and is often seen luring cats into her arms, though she is allergic. She loves a good, quiet Sunday sipping chilled chai tea alongside her plethora of puppets and stuffed animals (her closest family), while working on a collection of memoiric essays involving the theme “firsts.”
Victoria is now interning with Georgia Public Broadcasting, working as a volunteer creative writing teacher with Deep, a non-profit arts education organization, and writing music reviews for The Blue Indian. She resides in Savannah, Ga. and hopes to one day become nomadic.
